On boundaries of the Buryat word-formative family nest

The problem of determination the boundaries of the synchronous derivational family nest is considered on the basis of the Buryat language. The position is presented that the scope of the modern word-formative family nest is necessary to expand by lexemes, historically associated with the top of the family nest and that have not lost semantic relations with it.
