Ethnocultural processes in the center of the Russian plain during the Neolithic

The paper reviews the process of ethnocultural development of the Neolithic population in the Center of the Russian Plain based on the data of ceramics studies as the most frequent source of information at the sites of that time. The paper looks into the history of researching this issue and presents the author's view on these processes based on the studies of ornamental traditions.
