About the concept, structure and innovative elements of the green finance mechanism of the economy

The article proposes the concept of a mechanism for green financing of the economy, reflecting the author’s point of view on the direction of transformation of the traditional financial mechanism under the influence of the green economy and the global trend of sustainable development. The structure of the green finance mechanism that is relevant for green finance and a number of additional innovative elements that are characteristic of the green trend are shown. The content and characteristics of new elements of the green financing mechanism are given - sources of financing, institutions of two types and levels, methods for assessing the quantitative and qualitative impact on the national economy, integration of green and digital financial technologies, levels of functioning of the mechanism. The emphasis is placed on the most pressing problems for developing countries in the development of a green financing mechanism - the shortage of sources of “green” financing, the institutional structure of the “green” financial market, digital services and platforms, openness of information and non-financial reporting.
