We live in the information age, characterized by the widespread penetration of digital technologies into all areas of activity and interaction between government, business and society. The spread of technologies is associated with challenges and risks, which causes negative reactions of specialists of different professions. However, we objectively cannot refuse the launched process of digitalization. In addition, this process has obvious advantages. The article considers this problem on the example of the digital transformation of monitoring and supervision activities in the field of education.
