On the worldview function of the Russian philosophy (based on the philosophy of S. N. Bulgakov)

In the article the formation of worldview bases of individual consciousness of the person has been defined as the main function of philosophy. The author reasons the legitimacy of the choice of fundamental ideas of S. N. Bulgakov's philosophy as the methodological proof of the given position. The worldview function of philosophy has been revealed in the course of transition of individual life activity to social practice, to the sphere of society culture functioning where the worldview acts as its peculiar cultural basis.
