On the motivation of criminal and suicidal behavior

Introduction: the article is devoted to the consideration of topical issues related to the incitement to criminal and suicidal behavior. Special attention is paid to the formation of motives of such behavior, their causes and conditions are considered. The measures aimed at prevention of illegal, antisocial, suicidal acts are proposed. Materials and Methods: works on criminology, sociology, psychology, deviantology, addictology, criminal law are used. The authors use general scientific methods of cognition, as well as special methods: historical, logical, comparative legal, system-structural, sociological, statistical, which allow analyze and summarize issues of general theoretical orientation related to the subject of the study, as well as formulate the necessary proposals and conclusions. Results: the authors analyzed the essence and mechanism of motivation of criminal and suicidal behavior, which allowed reveal their content, to offer recommendations for the prevention of crimes and suicides. It is established that the motivation of suicidal and criminal behavior in certain cases has many similar features. Discussion and Conclusions: preventive and corrective measures of legal, psychological, criminological character on reorientation of antisocial and autoagressive motives in sports, creative, socially useful activity are offered.
