On findings of the European stag beetle Lucanus cervus (Coleoptera, Lucanidae) in the Samara region in 2021-2023

Constant monitoring of rare species plays an important role in maintaining the Red Book. Amateur naturalists can also make a significant contribution to identifying new habitats for such species. Such observations can play a special role for such large and easily identifiable insect species as the European stage beetle Lucanus cervus . The work provides information on findings of European stage beetle in the Samara region in 2021-2023, the distribution of the species in the Samara region is analyzed, maps with cadastral points are given, the occurrence of Lucanus cervus by seasons is analyzed.
