About the finds of ferromanganese concretions in the freshwater lakes of the Ilmensky reserve (South Ural)

Ferromanganese formations from the Lakes Bol'shoy Kisegach and Bol'shoe Miassovo of the Ilmen Reserve (South Urals) are shortly characterized. Data on its morphology, chemical and mineral composition are given. Ferromanganese formations from Lake Bol'shoe Miassovo consist of hydroxide and carbonate minerals, and are distinguished by high contents of Mn, Ba, Ti, V.
