News about some little-studied birds of south-western Tajikistan

During field works in April-May 2011 in Kurdjalakum sand desert and its environs we collected data about some insufficiently studied birds of Tajikistan. We describe nests of Black-bellied Sandgrouse Pterocles orientalis and Rufous-tailed Scrub Robin Cercotrichas galactotes; provide current information about status of Pygmy Cormorant Phalacrocorax pygmaeus, Pin-tailed Sandgrouse Pterocles alchata, Lesser Short-toed Lark Calandrella rufescens, Rook Corvus frugilegus, Black-headed Wagtail Motacilla feldegg, Eastern Olivaceous Warbler Iduna pallida and Paddyfield Warbler Acrocephalus agricola in the South-Western Tajikistan.
