About some features formed financial base of local government in Russia and abroad

The article studies the problems of low financial independence of local budgets in the Russian Federation, their high dependence on interbudgetary transfers. Comparison with the experience of a number of foreign countries such as the US and Germany confirms the need to expand our own financial base of local budgets in Russia
