The article contains information on feeding features of Capercaillier (Tetrao urogallus L.) in peat-bogs of Tver region in 1995 - 2007. The 13 species of plants are founded in food of this bird in spring (April-May). The important role of Pinus sylvestris, Oxucoccus spp., Eriphorum vaginatum, Andromeda polifolia, Vaccinium are discussed.
