About some statistical data of the system of selective dissemination of information in Library for natural sciences of the RAS

The report is mainly devoted to statistical data of the system of selective dissemination of information (the SDI system) in Library for Natural Sciences of the RAS including data of readers’ orders for periodicals. Just over half of Russian scientific journals ordered in the SDI system are published by Russian Academy of Sciences. Other part of the list of Russian scientific journals is published by a lot of small publishers. Vast majority of foreign periodicals ordered in the SDI system are published by world’s first-rate publishers. At the same time, periodicals published by small foreign publishers are also frequently ordered by readers. For periodicals ordered in the SDI system we reveal that open-access-model is wider distributed among Russian scientific journal than among foreign ones.
