The concept and classification of the manifestations of extremism

Introduction: the need for in-depth study of the nature and trends of extremism as a social phenomenon, developing on the basis not only of conceptual acts, but also technologies to counter extremism, is relevant for Russia. The purpose of this study is to reveal the notions of extremism, extremist organization, and ex-tremist materials. Materials and Methods: the research is based on empirical and theoretical methods: a descriptive, ana-lytical methods, method of analysis of literature. Results: the authors urge to pay very close attention to the fact that the danger of extremism is the appeal of its ideology to minors. Discussion and Conclusions: as key findings, the authors argue that the understanding of the nature and forms of extremism will continue to deal more effectively with extremism.
