On increasing the role of the cultural component in the formation of a tourism product under the new global agend

The article discusses measures of state support for inbound and domestic tourism, issues of expanding the geography of tourism in Russia. Attention is paid to the need to intensify the involvement of cultural heritage sites in tourism as a factor in strengthening the civilizational identity of Russian regions and promoting Russian cultural values among foreign tourists.
