The use of the term "shamanism" in the context of Tengrizm research methodology

The article examines the question of the origin of the term “shamanism” in connection with the latest Tengrizm research about the influence of the religion of the Eternal Blue Sky and Mithraism and Bon religion of the Turko-Mongol people's beliefs and cults in Inner and Central Asia. The authors believe that these terms are entered into scientific circulation by J. Banzarov and were taken from archaic Tungus religious tradition. Turkic-Mongol peoples have no this term, but there were various forms of Tengrizm and Aryan religion (Mithraism, Zoroastrianism).
