On the legal regulation of non-refundable rates in the hotel industry

The article analyzes the existing legislation in the field of tariff regulation in the hotel industry. Gaps are identified that lead to conflict situations between guests and accommodation facilities. The initiatives of the Government, in particular the Ministry of Economic Development, as the main state body regulating this industry are being considered. Opinions of industry experts are provided and commented on. The possibilities and consequences of introducing the concept of non-refundable tariff into the current legislation are considered.
