About causes and methods of reduction of embryonal mortality in cattle

The authors estimated the antiluteolitic properties of luteostabil during the injection to cows of the Black-and-White breed. The progesteron concentration in cow's blood after intramuscular injection of estrophan and luteostabil was determined. The efficiency of luteostabil injection was estimated according to results of cows artificial semination at the spontaneous and induced rut. The possibility of reduction of embryonal mortality in cows by injection of luteostabil is discussed.
