In field experiments in the conditions of Stavropol' height the authors evaluated the effect of biological humus on the basis of vermiculite (compost Californian worm Eisenia foetida) on growth, development and yield in maize hybrids of various groups of ripeness. In most cases (89 %) an application of biohumus is the quite realizable way for rising of maize grain yield with well-known positive influence on soil fertility simultaneously. The reaction of varieties among maize hybrids from different groups of ripeness on biohumus as main fertilizer is vary that suggests the necessity of differential methods during its application. It is necessary to mark the availability of biohumus during cultivation of the RIK 345 mid-ripening hybrid, Krasnodarskii 410 and Erik middle-late hybrids and also Mashuk 170 early-ripe hybrid on which biohumus has shown considerable efficiency.
