About the problems of the fisheries complex of Russia

The article is devoted to the problems associated with fish production. The comparison of exports of fish products with other food products was carried out. The main directions of the development of the fishing industry, which have been declared for several decades at different levels, are listed. It is proposed to restore the Ministry of Fisheries of the Russian Federation and withdraw commercial production from the custody of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
