Concerning the procedural status of crime victims at the stage of initiation of a criminal case

The article studies how individuals and organizations -victims of crimes - begin to participate in criminal proceedings at the stage of initiation of a criminal case. The analysis focuses on the changes in the legal regulation of particular aspects of activities of state bodies authorized to conduct criminal proceedings related to granting individuals with procedural rights and obligations. The author considers how to solve a problem of granting crime victims with the status of criminal proceedings participants at its initial stage.
