Creation of a Russian electronic music synthesizer with timbres of traditional musical instruments of the peoples of Russia and the world

The paper emphasizes that globalization poses a threat to the national cultural heritage. Traditional culture, including traditional music, is often relegated to the background as irrelevant to modern society, but it concentrates basic values and experiences of generations. At present, the problem of preserving musical folklore is especially acute. An important role in solving this problem can be played by music computer technologies, which have already become part of the daily life of a modern person. The authors of the paper propose the creation of a Russian electronic musical synthesizer that includes the timbres of traditional musical instruments. In their opinion, this can help promote Russian traditional music. It is concluded that the preservation of unique folk traditions contributes to the self-identification of individuals, supports their social and civic development, promotes the creation of a tolerant environment in the interests of society and the state.
