About developing modern dual system electric locomotive with a diesel engine of the "last mile"

The article is devoted to the development and creation of a trunk two-system freight electric locomotive with a diesel engine of the last mile for the companies of railway operators of the countries of Russia and the CIS. The main technical requirements for this locomotive are given, the tractive and braking characteristics of the locomotive are indicated. The use of the option diesel engine of the «last mile» on the locomotive is justified
