On the role of decoration in the attribution of bronze bells of Russian production

The article examines the main characteristic changes in the decorative changes of the Russian bells. Some issues related to the principles of manufacturing decorative elements on bells are raised. Based on a comparison of stylistic changes, an attempt is made to study individual elements of décor and inscription in terms of attribution problems.
