On the role of information infrastructure in the activities of customs authorities

The article examines the impact of digitalization on the work of customs authorities in Russia. The emphasis is on the need to develop and implement new technologies to ensure more efficient functioning of customs authorities, with an emphasis on the use of domestic software. As part of this process, a full transition to Russian software is planned. Special attention is being paid to the modernization of checkpoints to increase capacity and improve the quality of service at the border. The main idea is the need for an integrated approach to the modernization of customs authorities in order to increase their efficiency and compliance with modern requirements, despite the problems and challenges that arise.
