On the role of the forest industry in the Russian economy

The article discusses some aspects of the role of the forest industry in the Russian economy. In the course of the study, the structure of this segment of the domestic economy is presented and analyzed. It is shown that the forest industry has a general tendency to increase its economic indicators, and in the long term - the overall role in the country's economy. The results obtained to a certain extent expand the theoretical knowledge regarding the subject area under consideration. The problems of the development of the country's forest industry are also detailed to a certain extent.
