The role of the “Nuremberg heritage” in the process of criminalization of the rehabilitation of nazism in the Russian criminal legislation

The article discusses the provisions of the international legal acts that make up the ‘‘Nuremberg Legacy’’, including the Judgment of the International Military Tribunal, in the part in which they determine the criminal law nature of the criminalization of the rehabilitation of nazism in national legislation. The author analyzes the impact of these normative acts on the criminal legal structure of Art. 3541 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the thesis is expressed about the need to distinguish between the actual content and the legal display of the definitions of ‘‘nazism’’ and ‘‘rehabilitation of nazism’’. The author comes to the conclusion about the essential role of the materials and documents that make up the ‘‘Nuremberg Heritage’’ for the appearance in the domestic criminal legislation of the norm on the rehabilitation of Nazism.
