About the semantic differentiation of complex sentences with (а) между тем (based on otorhinolaryngological texts)

The linguistic analysis results of special features of the operation of semantic combination “but, however? in medical specialization texts (otorhinolaryngology) are presented in this article. Systematic description of all the semantic relations in the complex sentence with combination “but, however” is in the center of attention, lexical interpretation of this unit is explored, classification of complex sentences with component “but, however” is given from the point of view of semantics of sense-bearing relations inherent to scientific (medical texts).
