Seasonal dynamics of the dominant'S srecies of ground-beetles urbanlandscapes of Samara

The article analyzes the characteristics of the seasonal dynamics of the activity of ground beetles in Samara. Studies of seasonal dynamics of ground beetles showed that the beetles are active throughout the warm season. The first pronounced peak in the number of individuals trapped at end of June - beginning of July, the second peak in the mid - late August. The largest decrease in the number of beetles occurred in late September, early October. Degree of change in the urban landscape was noticeably shifted the curve of seasonal dynamics of ground beetles. The period of activity of ground beetles depends on the temperature of the soil and the environment, as well as soil moisture.
