On the system of mineralogy: classifications, tolerance spaces, structures

Nowadays, several concepts of the mineralogy system co-exist. First, there are dominating classifications of mineralogical types with a focus on their structure or chemical composition. Second, there are tolerance spaces basing on a partial similarity of the chemical composition of mineralogical types. Third, there are structures with principally different order relations of mineralogical types and series. The mineralogy is promising for applying these and future approaches complementing each other.
