On snow retention as an agronomic technique for soil preparation during agricultural crop cultivation

In winter temperatures, snow reserves help to better withstand the negative impact on winter crops. In addition, the use of this agrotechnical technique makes it possible to increase the quantitative content of soil moisture. The review of snow retention methods and their analysis made it possible to identify the positive and negative aspects of each of them, to establish the time and place of application of this agrotechnical technique when cultivating agricultural crops in regions with different natural and climatic characteristics.
