The authors estimated the hydrogen peroxide content in pea seedlings (Pisum sativum L.) with normal and disturbed regulation of infection and nodulation after inoculation by nitrogen-fixing bacteria (Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viceae) and their treatment by exogenous salicylic acid. It was shown, that hydrogen peroxide content in organs of pea seedlings after inoculation is altered in connection with biotype of plant-host. Hydrogen peroxide participates in establishing an regulatory and protective functions in pea during symbiosis with rhizobia. Salicylic acid have effect on the hydrogen peroxide content in roots of pea seedlings during inoculation by nodulating bacteria.
