Concerning improvement of legislation and law enforcement practice in the sphere of forest protection

By studying the current legislation and law enforcement practice the article examines how the law and order is implemented in the sphere of protection and use of forest land, including the issues related to the organizational and financial problems of land cadastral registration. The authors discuss the positive practice of prosecutorial activity in detecting and eliminating of law violations in the sphere of protection and use of the forest land. Some proposals on how to improve the measures in the field of forest lands protection are formulated.
