Concerning contemporary musical education: pedagogical philharmonic society’s activity

The article considers Pedagogical Philharmonic Society’s activities, established in Moscow to impart classic music to students of the supplementary education institutions. The classic music delivers moral values spiritually enriching a personality. Unfortunately, in the contemporary environment the younger generation’s interest in classic music is fading away, but the Pedagogical Philharmonic Society solves this problem, applying an activity approach and involving the students in all the activities it carries out.
