On modern methods of committing fraud involving the use of personal data of Internet users

The article analyses the most common ways of committing fraud involving the use of personal data of Internet users. Based on available scientific publications and investigative practice, the classification and examples of methods of obtaining personal data on Internet users are given. The article considers the concept of personal data from the position of lawmakers and the issues of classifying certain information as personal data.
