On the methods of fraud on the Internet

The article discusses the most common fraudulent activities on the Internet. The authors analyze investigative and judicial practice and highlight the most common methods of the considered type of fraud, describe the actions of fraudsters to prepare, commit and conceal such crimes. They conclude that, along with measures to identify, disclose and investigate the facts of such unlawful acts, law enforcement agencies must inform citizens about new methods of Internet fraud, as well as about the measures they can take so as not to be deceived.
