About the essence of the organization of preventive activities of operational units engaged in the fight against crimes related to IT technologies

This article considers local self-government bodies as an integral part of preventive activities for the prevention of offenses and crimes in the information and telecommunications environment, emphasizes their importance. The authors highlight the legal framework governing the rights and obligations of public formations to participate in the prevention of illegal acts. The authors propose the implementation of preventive measures by people's squads, which are a link in the system of local self-government bodies.
