The technologies of diaconal ministry (historical and social analysis)

The article deals with the genesis of the diaconal ministry technologies in the context of Russian and world social history. The author assesses the basic scientific approaches to the research of the sources, kinds and forms of the diaconal ministry. The author considers social activities of diaconal organizations and institutions as an integral part of the public social ministry, which can be treated as one of the prospective trends of the theory and practice of social work.
