On the contribution of science to the implementation of economic policy

The article deals with the issues of the deployment of the Federal Contracting System in the Russian Federation as the major public management tool in the contemporary economy. The author identifies and considers the key stages of the process of the deployment the Federal Contracting System in Russia. The contribution of professor V.A. Fedorovich to spur of the Federal Contracting System and corresponding legislation deployment is considered. The key public acts that are in the heart of the Russian federal contracting legislation are examined. The author also focuses on the United States Federal Contracting System, which is considered to be the most mature and comprehensive federal procurement evidence.
