The impact of changes in the vector of criminal policy on the effectiveness of combating crime in the sphere of economics

The article presents a scientific analysis of the genesis of the Russian criminal legislation on responsibility for crimes in the sphere of economics with the impact of changes of the vector of penal policy on the efficiency of combating economic crimes. Conventional classification of the criminal legislation development stages in the sphere of economics has been carried out, their distinguishing features have been identified, quantitative characteristics of crime in the sphere of economics have been demonstrated at the each stage of development, modern directions of criminal policy have been identified, the recent changes of the Article 22 of the Criminal Code of Russia have been characterized, practical problems of applying the norms for responsibility for crimes in the sphere of economics have been presented.
