About of epilithic algae some mountain areas of Russia and Mongolia

Algological study of stones and rocks and epilithic mosses of some mountain areas of south Siberia (Russia) and Mongolia was carried. Natural-geographical conditions of this territory are diverse. 160 species, variation and forms algae were revealed. Algae belong to 6 divisions: Cyanoprokaryota, Bacillariophyta, Eustigmatophyta, Xanthophyta, Chlorophyta, Streptophyta. The leading divisions are Cyanoprokaryota - 59 species and Chlorophyta - 73 species. They contain 84% of registered algae. In the spectrum of genera and species is marked representatives of mountainous flora. Representatives of Cyanoprokaryota, Chlorophyta and Streptophyta form macroscopic growths on the surface of substrates. They are characterized.
