The theoretical issues of valuation of seasonal fluctuations in the dynamics of socioeconomic phenomena and processes are considered in the article, and some methods for calculating indices of seasonality based on the availability of the main trend in the test series, and the features of seasonal indices ’ use in the construction of models of socioeconomic phenomena are defined. The seasonal wave of gross milk production and production of livestock and poultry in live weight is analysed
