We studied 70 forms, 5 species of the genus Chamaecyparis. We propose heterotopy as one of the possible mechanisms of morphogenesis in this genus. We also describe specific mechanisms of morphogenesis in juvenile, filamentous, dwarfish and fern-shaped stages.
