On the selection of the model of labor market regulation in Kazakhstan

This article is devoted to an overview of the modern goals and objectives of labor market regulation in Kazakhstan. The previously unexplored question of the superiority of continental or Anglo-Saxon law in regulating employment in relation to the national conditions of Kazakhstan is considered. On the basis of the ongoing liberalization of the regulation of labor relations in order to accelerate economic development, conclusions were drawn on the areas of demand and the limits of the principle of the freedom of hired labor, including on the basis of the indicators of the quality of the labor market of OECD countries. The authors come to the conclusion that the existing difficulties in the legal regulation of employment in Kazakhstan should not be the basis for the introduction of Anglo-Saxon law here. There should be ongoing activities to improve the quality of legal regulation, the purpose of which is to protect the rights and interests of the parties to labor relations, to establish minimum guarantees of rights and freedoms at work...
