In article the analysis of opportunity and effective use of microhydroelectric power station (up to 100 kW) and minihydroelectric power station (up to 5 MWt), realized in the form of these or those engineering decisions is carried out. With their help it is possible to provide with the electric power the population of the remote and mountain areas, and also farms. It is much cheaper and more favorable, than construction of power lines or operation of diesel machines.
