On the importance of transport and tracological expertise in conducting inspections of insurance claims under CTP with signs of imitation, staging and provoking an accident

The article substantiates the effectiveness of transport and tracological expertise to establish the reliability of the circumstances of an accident based on the analysis of the presented and recorded damage and traces of contact. The signs of an accident simulation are given. The features of the trace pattern in the simulation of an accident without a real collision of vehicles are described. It is said that objective control devices (recorders) are often used as an integral part of the scenario, according to which the development of the accident mechanism is realized. It is concluded that instrumental research methods in the production of transport and tracological expertise will avoid a double interpretation of the origin of traces.
