About information support of activity of authorities

Information technology is the major condition of development of a modern society. Among problems of the government of one of the most important information field modernization, regulation of a stream of the information, development of information sphere is considered. The problem of management, regulation of activity of information-communication sources, mass media from public authorities is investigated in aspect of use of information technology in the conditions of a pandemic, in need of information security of citizens, their freedom and constitutional laws and is concretized on an example of application of the newest workings out in sphere of artificial intelligence, statistics and mathematics in the Tula branch of Financial university where the important accent is made on all-round use of innovative workings out in information sphere and use of information technology, including for perfection of information security of authorities. In particular in 2019 by order of the State Autonomous institution of the Tula region «Center for information technologies» («CIT») made a research work on processing of statistical data obtained in the result of measurement of the development of the digital competences of the population of the Tula region, implemented TsIT, and proposals on elimination of gaps in levels of digital literacy of the population of the Tula region and creating equal opportunities for access to digital resources in comparison with practices in other regions. The conclusions of the research are presented.
