About historical, cultural and geographic preconditions for forming the cartographic intelligence of civilizational values

The article reveals the methodological approaches to the creation of the civilizational map of the Russian Federation, which in the future can fulfill not only the educational function, but also serve as an impulse and basis for the work on branding the vast territories of the federal districts and subjects of the Russian Federation. As the most important methodological preconditions for the creation of a civilizational map, the civilization value approach and previously published maps of cultural landscape zoning and religions are considered. The possibilities of creating a geocivilization matrix as the basis of a geocivilization map and special programming of the process of volumetric mapping are shown.
