About estimation of bulls of the Black-and-White breed of different origin according to their own productivity

The authors estimated of bulls of the Black-and-White breed according to their own productivity in connection with their line origin and also genotype and productivity of their mothers. The superiority of bulls from Montvik-Chiftein 95679 line was revealed on main parameters of sperm production and sperm fertilization ability as compared with their coevals from other lines of the Holstein and the Black-and-White breeds. It was shown, that increase in bulls of blood of Holstein breed and their mothers productivity promote to improvement of qualitative and quantitative parameters of sperm production. It was established, that the quality of sperm production of pedigree bulls in many respects depends on their origin and genetic potential of their mothers productivity. The possibility of preliminary estimation of bulls reproductive properties by quality of sperm production was considered.
