About evaluation of hereditary potential of cows milk productivity on bulls genotype

By the BLUP method the author evaluated the degree of realization of hereditary potential of milk productivity in bulls in connection with place of birth, their lines, breed, blood and productivity of their mothers during formation of the Middle Volzhskii type of the Black-and-White cattle. The analysis of breeding evaluation in bulls from different genealogical groups suggests about promising use for improvement of local population of the Black-and-White cattle as reproductive material mainly the offspring of the Reflecshn Sovering and Siling Trijun Rocket lines. It was shown, that in pedigree herds with nutrition level, which is sufficient for average milk yield of 4000-4500 kg per cow, it is desirable to use bulls having 51-81 % of blood of the Holstein breed and productivity potential of their mothers of 7000-8000 kg of milk.
