The report presents the biographies of three parishioners of Leningrad churches, who donated in 1950 to Metropolitan Gregory (Chukov) a book by E. V. Tarle, which is now kept in the library of St. Petersburg Theological Academy. In the 1920s, they studied at the Petrograd Theological Institute and at the Higher Theological Courses, where the future Metropolitan Gregory served as rector.
